Oakwood Introduces Self-Adhesive Ultra Bond Veneer

After the wild success of Pressure Sensitive Adhesive veneer, or peel and stick veneer by 3M, Oakwood Veneer is introducing a new version of sticky back veneer called Ultra Bond Veneer.

Ultra Bond Veneer works the same way as 3M PSA veneer except that in our own research testing, we found that Ultra Bond Veneer sticks to the substrate even better than the 3M version.

Unlike using contact cement, or other types of glues, Ultra Bond Veneer also works in the unique way that if you apply it to the substrate and then find out it was placed slightly off, you can peel it off and re-stick, if done within about 24 hours. After this 24 hour window, the glue forms an extremely tight bond that cannot be peeled off.

Starting now, all self-stick veneer (also known as "peel n stick wood veneer"), orders will ship with the new Ultra Bond backing at the same price that 3M self adhesive veneer has been until now. 3M backing will still be available on request, at an additional charge of 30 cents per square foot. However with all results indicating that Ultra Bond does a fantastic job forming a permanent bond, there should be no need to pay this additional charge.
